Nederlands Kamp. Dalati Si-Lw- W' 79 & '81- Lux. Kamp.
Mijn
naam is Anja Wetsteyn.
gedaan, etc. Leuk "uitstapje": inrichten van een expositie
over de hond in een museum. Sinds beginjaren zeventig lopen er bij ons
Welshen rond In 1975 hadden wij ons eerste nest Welsh Springer Spaniëls
van Welsh (wat haar roepnaam was). De kennelnaam "Our Loyal Welsh"
verwijst dus naar de naam van onze eerste Welsh My name is Anja Wetsteyn. I will give you an idea about my history with dogs. I'm the secretary of the KC Winterswijk and also the Dutch Border Terrier Club, I introduced obedience in the Eastern parts of the Netherlands and am one of the planners for workingtests for Spaniels. I did several courses, like A.K.K. and E&B. One day I even helped building up an exposition about dogs in a Museum. In the seventies the Welsh Springer breed came into our lives, in 1975 we had our first litter of Welshes from Welsh, as my girl was called. My prefix "Our Loyal Welsh" is chosen because of her name and not because of the breed Welsh Springer as most people would think. In the seventies as well as in the eighties we imported three Dalati dogs, Dalati Dynys, Dalati Si-Lw and Dalati Sawel, in the nineties we imported Pasondela Rainman (Twm). I still like Dalati Si-Lw the most because of her super construction and lovely type. She was a solidly build bitch, sound and with a lot of dignity without beeing overdone. Her image always cross my mind when thinking of my ideal Welsh. The combinations I breed are well thought of, I hardly do any concessions according to health or character and temperament but when needed I do so according to construction. A Welsh, to my opinion, has to be a Dual Purpose dog, nice to look at and a good worker in the field. In the eighties I started working with my dogs in the field, lots of "Our Loyal Welsh" dogs are keen workers and qualified for KNJV tests and fieldtrials. Most of them though are fine familymembers ! |
